![]() ![]() ![]() This is somewhat a tradition in Souls-likes, but Bleak does not only largely skip the expected cutscenes or explanation that you would get in “normal” games, but it also combines this lack of information with weirdly confusing graphics that make the game almost feel like some arthouse Dark Souls. It does not even give you some core tutorials which leaves you in the dark about important abilities. Bleak Faith: Forsaken looks nice when looking at some screenshots of the game, but it undoubtedly, unfortunately, falls more into the latter category.īleak Faith: Forsaken is an incredibly vague game regarding storytelling. We also appreciate all types of Souls-likes here, even though it seems rather hard to create a good indie Souls-like, and instead, we often see half-done games that mostly focus on recreating the atmospherewhile letting the player deal with poor game design or mechanics. Water levels are my bane.Every gamer who likes a challenge likes a good Dark Souls adventure. Hope I never have to go back towards that nightmare. ![]() Only found that one area that I'm not supposed to be, across the train tracks that you get to from the tunnel between the boxes in the center of Blokīeat the deluge. I've wandered through the entirety of the starting area afaik, and just keep exploring. Been through the sewers, the asylum, the deluge, all that. I love exploration, but I am jsut walking in circles at this point. I genuinely have no idea where to go, though. I pretty much skipped the whole rain city/sewer thing until i accidentaly stepped on some elevator. Look around the interchangable ways between even pretty "endgamey" areas and the "normal" path is insane. i know atleast 3 areas leading into areas i haven't cleared yet. That's actualy pretty great they did an amazing job with exploration. When it comes to beeing lost and not knowing where to go: Things get a tad more difficult nearly everywhere after even touching one Originally posted by rasabt:i'd probably clear more areas before touching any of the "eyes" You'll eventually find a giant eye in the water to swim into ![]() Follow the red lights - they give you oxygen. But if I need to go there, any info would be helpful. Where do I even go in the Deluge? Do I need to go into the water or something? Because of glowing worms in the water, I have been putting me off doing that. I'll complain about the lack of story another time, since I still want to finish the game. I don't even care about spoilers at this point. Then I kept going, hit the Desert, went into the Desert Mirage, fought the W O R M L O R D who died EXTREMELY quickly, met Yaroslav and there's a fog wall it won't let me go past even though he seems to imply I CAN, in fact, go past it I went all the way to the Desert, on my way there I met who was.basically the Skull Knight from Berserk? (My game accidentally skipped the cutscene so if anyone could tell me if he says anything I'd be very grateful).
